Blue Sky this Thursday!

Johan and i hit the field on thursday for Pigeons and we had a slow start with only three Rock Pigeons wich we discarded for the foxes, rainy clouds made the Pigeons stay in the treelines and we had to wait about three more hours before the sun broke through and the wind picked up IT WAS FLIGHT WEATHER!! The following two hours were great by the time to head home for lunch we had bagged 20 Wood Pigeons and if we had stayed for the afternoon we could have bagged at least 20 more due to the great weather.

Why is hunting best when you have limited time???

Today me and the family had plasn so i promised to be home at breakfast, i headed out to see if there were any Wood Pigeons flying, i found a field were the crops were Peas and the Pigeons flew really nice in small groups. I only brought a small box of 12ga No 6 just so i would be home in time i managed to bag thirteen but three had to go as the hits were too good (more lead then meat on them. As i was packing down my gear a crow came in low enough to be dropped and i left him behind as i figure i owe it to the foxes around here to get a easy meal......

Making my own Toneboards at last.

I got some Delrin sent to me the other day, and i had to hit the shop at once trying to shape out a Toneboard, this is my first Delrin Toneboard ever made it sounded good but were a little hard to blow. I´ve been consulting friends on Predatormasters and im getting some guidence from them in my ongoing development, they been doing this for a long time and have the best experiance in the world.

A couple of new ones!

These two were made this weekend and the lower pic call is fitted with my own toneboard made of withe Delrin and have a really high pitched sound, the upper pic call is a onepiece antler call with a longer board to vary sound depending on mouthplacement these two calls will go on my own sling this season i really like the sounds in them, too much to sell them hehehehe..... Im using Yellerdog reeds in these calls as they are precut and really nice shaped... http://www.yellerdogcalls.com/ visit Lee on his website as he got a variety of calls and call parts for predator calls.
Thanks for looking!!!
For those of you interested in Custom made predator calls visit us at Predatormasters and the Custom Call thread, were these calls and many many others are posted for both show and sales

Nordik Roe

Last Thursday when i got home tired from work my wife told me i got a package in the mail, i asked if she knew what it was and she said:
- A hunting movie and another call, with a lack in her voice and who can blame her,, on every shelf here at home theres a call laying around hehehe.

I got to look at the pack and realised it´s from P-A Åhlén the maker of Nordik Predator and Nordik Cryingbird predator calls, it contained his new call for Roedeer "Nordik Roe" and a movie were he and Mikael Tham are calling Roedeer bucks with similar result as calling for predators. The bucks in the movie comes charging in to shooting distances of just a few yards, awesome movie with really good photo and instructions on the call. Looking forward to call something more than fox this season, theres also a instruction on the Nordik Crying bird wich i now realise is going to be a real nice call to use on the younger foxes in the early season.

Im not sure when the movie will be released for sale but for those of you who like calling and Buck hunting will like this setup, so look out for this movie and call. www.jaktwebben.com will have it for sale im sure.....
