First double of the season.

Once again Rudy´s call have contribute to a fine Redfox double, got them in range in the same field and dropped them 2 feet from eachother with 5 minutes between. Thanks Rudy for making these awesome calls that literally pull the Foxes out in the open. Took my stand in an old barn with my old faithful .222 with 40gr Sierra Varminter bullets, had some birds spooked first but after a few minutes it all settled down and i did some calling and the first one came in a little nervous and i dropped him at 120 yards, just 1 minute after i saw the other one jumping up on a hay roll about 500 yards away. I moved the gun a bit and then did some really raspy rabbit screams and he just launched in my direction, when he came in wind of the first fox he crossed over the field and stopped at the very same spot and i dropped him there right in front of the first one. It looks to be a good season as i´ve seen plenty of young foxes in the fields on our hunting area.

Almost taken by "Red"

We went to our summerhuose this weekend to set it up for the winter, on Friday i went for a walk to look for Deers when i saw a Redfox hunting mouse in a field. I dont have permission to hunt in this area so i just sneaked out there to take a picture, but as i got in closer the "caller" in me took over my body. I started to lipsqueek to try and find a tone that would match the menu in that field and after almost 10 minutes the Fox lifted its head and listened in my direction, the fox slowly walked in a circle to fin the wind but as he did i pitched up the squeek and he couldnt resist anymore. The ten second clip is when the Fox decides to go "all in" and i can asure you he did, when you hear in the clip my -buh! he is coming through the bush in front of me and i have to jump back and he turns 2 feet in front of me. You can also hear my nervous giggle in the back as i was not prepared to get him that close, never heard a man been "taken" by a Fox but closer than that you dont get LOL!

Thanks for looking!

Young Roedeer buck

Today i were out Dove hunting when i ran into this "teenager", the does are in their heat so the bucks dont seem to fear anything this time of year. Got this photo at 20 yards and he were in the same field as an older buck wich i never got a pic of but i was hoping to catch them fighting later on but they went seperate ways.
