Lynx tracks!!

I found this track last weekend when i was out calling for fox, there was two adults and one cub. They had been there probably during the night, and as far as i tracked them they had not been preying on any deer or rabbit. Well we are six countys that have a total limit of four Lynx and there is probably 80 of them roaming these six counties, so the limit will be reached in about one or two hours on the seasons first day March 1st. A grand total of 43 animals are to be taken down in areas outside the Sami peoples Cariboufarming grounds up north, the limit this year will sure show to be too small but who can persuade the gorvement officials that we must hunt more predators.....................please answer me that!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynx_lynx

Night calling

I was out the other night calling for Redfox but i didnt see a singel one, there was moon but not enough for a good night hunt. So i turned to the Predatormasters forum to ask for some advise an they told me if i cant use light i should try to hunt in the early morning or at full moon nights and do a good run of practice shooting in moonlight cause it hard to tell distances in those conditions. I have practiced the "Cronk killer call" for some time now and im pretty shure that im able to replicate the sounds for Fox, and now the Redfox mating season is coming up so i hope i´ll be able to call them at daytime instead.

Young Buck!

Roedeer kid "Buck" taken down Sat. 27th of January on my home ground outside Hedemora, my friend Björn stalked them for a 1,5 km. and i intercepted the animals that came in a pack of seven. I also took a shot at an adult buck that didn´t went down and after tracking him for 4,5 hours without any blood or staggering tracks we desided that he was good to go.

From the Moose stand.

This is the wiew from my stand on the latest Moose hunt i participated in it was taken the 13th of January 2007 and it about sunrise as you can see, unfortunatly there was no Mooses taken down this day.

Skinning!!

Heres me and my friend Marcus skinning a Roe Deer kid that i shot when we were out one evening in September 2003. We didnt even get to the stand before a goat with two kids showed up the shot took perfect from 80 meters in the lungs.

My first Redfox!

These pictures was taken in early spring 2001 and it is my first Redfox, pretty big one? the scale stopped at 13,5 kilo (26lb) no mange or any other skin disease. Unfortunatly at that time i didnt know of anyone to help me take care of the skin so it all went to waste. The gun i used was my 12 gauge doublebarrel shotgun (Beretta Silverpigeon).

Pike fever!!

Me and my best fishing buddy "Johan" with my record pike 11,5 kilo(22lb), caught(almost 11 years ago) in Hovran a river delta in my hometown Hedemora. My grandpa still keeps the top score with a pike on 21 kilo (40lb) wich he caught upstream from were this photo was taken. (Johan loves to row the boat)
