The Beaver is still on!

All thats left before the summers practice shooting and Crow hunts is the Beaver hunt that is open until May 15, i havent had much luck previous season with the Beaver but this year i´ve seen that the Beaver family in my hunting area has expanded so there is a slight chance for me this time.

I´m off for the first hunt in two weeks from now if all goes right so i´ll keep you posted on the progress with the hunting and there will also be some post on my custom calls that are to be made this spring.

Fox season closed!

This fox season closed for me this weekend as i dont get any more time off hunting before 31 March, i managed to complete my goal with this season wich was learning to call a predator and then take it down now i cant wait until next foxseason wich opens August 1:st.

I have the guys on Predatormasters Forum to thank alot for inspiration and also Ulf on the magazine "Svensk Jakt" who really opened my eyes for the call hunt on fox. But none of this would have been possible if Mr.Rich Cronk From Iowa havent sent me one of his cutom calls so thanks alot Rich for the call and the instruction CD.

out of a Roedeer antler and it has a

real nice high pitch distress sound.

part now then i am ready for the stand.

Got the parts today!!

So the parts arrived and now its up to me to make them work, i will start assembly the first voices on Tuesday evening and hopefully the day after i´ll go out and get material for the body and reedprotector. I´ve been searching the "for sale" ads. for antlers or horns of any kind but so far nothing of interest has shown up, i will keep you posted on the progress.
